Internal Medicine Hands-on Rotation - Insight Hospital Chicago

About this Rotation

This 4-week Internal Medicine rotation provides students with hands-on inpatient clinical experience at Insight Hospital Chicago. Working closely with attending physicians and the healthcare team, students participate in patient care activities, develop clinical documentation skills, and gain exposure to a wide range of inpatient medical conditions within a hospital-based learning environment. Students gain valuable exposure to the evaluation and management of hospitalized patients with diverse medical conditions. The rotation emphasizes history taking, physical examination, clinical reasoning, patient presentations, medical documentation, and interdisciplinary teamwork while providing meaningful U.S. inpatient clinical experience in a hospital setting. Schedule: Monday–Friday (Approximately 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, may vary based on attending physician)

Capacity: Maximum 4 Students per Rotation Malpractice Insurance: Required ($1–3 Million Coverage for Duration of Rotation)
