Internal Medicine/Cardiology Rotation - Interfaith Medical Center

About this Rotation

This 4-week Cardiology rotation provides students with comprehensive hands-on clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care at Interfaith Medical Center, a teaching hospital in New York. Students work directly with experienced cardiologists, participate in patient care activities, and gain exposure to a broad range of cardiovascular conditions in an academic hospital environment. Students gain exposure to a wide spectrum of cardiovascular diseases, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, and preventive cardiology. The rotation emphasizes cardiovascular examination, ECG interpretation, clinical reasoning, diagnostic evaluation, and patient management across both inpatient and outpatient settings. This experience provides valuable U.S. clinical exposure within an academic teaching hospital and offers students an opportunity to build professional connections for future residency applications.
