About this Rotation

This 4-week outpatient rotation provides students with comprehensive hands-on clinical experience in Internal Medicine at LaSante Health Center in Brooklyn, New York. Students work directly with physicians, participate in patient care activities, and develop essential clinical skills in a busy outpatient setting serving a diverse patient population. Students gain valuable experience in outpatient medicine, preventive care, chronic disease management, patient communication, clinical reasoning, and case discussions. The rotation offers strong opportunities for obtaining U.S. clinical experience, physician mentorship, and specialty-specific letters of recommendation from recognized hospital systems in New York. This rotation is particularly beneficial for IMGs seeking hands-on outpatient U.S. clinical experience, hospital-based letters of recommendation, and exposure to Internal Medicine in a highly diverse urban healthcare setting.
